PLASTIC MATERIAL CONSULTING FOR APSX-PIM

Do you have a part design and like to know what plastic materials you can use to make that part by using the APSX-PIM? We take your part design as STEP file and do our APSX methodology and the ULPROSPECTOR database to analyze it. This is a paid service that we offer for our potential and current APSX customers. 

Our skilled team members perform this analysis. If there are design change needs for a successful injection molding process, we charge you our hourly rate to make the changes. The total cost depends on the part size, features and the plastic material intended to be used. 

We look for certain 3D CAD properties:

• The functionality of the part: The intended usage goal of the part can help to determine what plastic option we can consider. For the most parts, the polypropylene (PP) or similar is a great option. But for some the other materials such as nylon, COC, glass filled PP or polycarbonate would make more sense. 
• The plastic material: We like you to use the most user friendly plastics in your first injection molding part. We have the material selection assistance service as a separate service offering.
