If you have a part design for injection molding, you can use the APSX-PIM. The parameters you need to look for are:

1 – Max shot size (30 cu-cm) – that means “about” 30 gr of plastic Your part and the sprue-runners-gates total should not be more than 25 cu-cm for a reliable continuous process

2 – The part footprint should not exceed 10-12 sq-in on the standard APSX-PIM mold (6” X 4.8”)

If these two are ok, you can use the APSX-PIM.

- Please be aware that all of these parts that you see above do not have specific surface finish requirements via secondary polishing procedures. The molds are as is out of cnc machining. The end results can be better if you perform polishing on the mold you make.
